Stream of Consciousness is my largest piece to date and has won international acclaim, including 2nd place out of 2400 entries in the San Diego Museum of Arts Artist Guild juried show. This piece portrays the interdependency of species. There is a collective point of view illustrated that all need to stand together to enact change. The Orca Whale in b&w anchors the worldwind of color and pattern that revolves around it. The backround hieroglyphics tell a story of mans impact on nature that includes rising sea levels, a dead sea bottom, indiscriminate netting, industrialization, air pollution, deforestation, wild fires, mining, loss of biodiversity, overhunting, and carbon emission. 22 animals make up this visual tapestry as they gather to unite.
